The Bucheon Comics Awards is a comics award that began in 2004 to promote the creative motivation of domestic and foreign cartoonists and to develop the Korean comics industry by encouraging comics publishing.

This award is held every year to contribute to revitalizing our comics culture and increasing the number of people enjoying comics content by selecting and awarding cartoons with uniform work and popularity.

There are award-winning works selected by professional judges and reader popularity awards that are determined by 100% independent voting for comic works that have been published in more than 30 webtoons or one book within the period.

The winning work is held every year at the Bucheon International Comics Festival.
